World Junior Qualifier - Kate Shierlaw!

Congratulations to Kate Shierlaw for launching the javelin over the World Junior Qualifying mark!

On 17/11/07, Kate Shierlaw became the newest Enfield Harriers athlete with an international qualifier! Kate threw the 600g javelin 49.90m, surpassing the World Junior qualifying mark of 49.50m. Kate needs to throw the qualifier again and to perform in the top two at the selection trials to be selected in the 2008 World Junior Championships; which will be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland, 8-13 July.

Well done Kate on a fantastic effort and for becoming one of Enfield Harriers elite throwers!
