Fairwell Angela O'Riley

In mid September, 2007, my husband (Trevor) & I will be moving to Melbourne due to work transfers & promotions. It is with some sadness that I say goodbye to my Enfield Harrier friends.

I have been involved with the Enfield Harriers committee for over five years now – the last three of those as secretary. During this time I have enjoyed the opportunity of meeting many people and felt a good sense of satisfaction in having helped the club move to its new home and achieve its current good standing. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the committee and would like to take the opportunity to encourage others to take up the challenge after I leave. Whether you are an athlete, parent of an athlete or just someone who’s interested in athletics, it is a wonderful way to be involved and contribute. The club needs passionate people on its committee if it is to function properly and maintain its current facilities.

Trevor & I are really looking forward to the challenge of our move. It will also enable us to be reunited with our daughter, Meggan who is living in Melbourne. If you’re competing or officiating in Melbourne, keep an eye out for us at the track as we’re bound to be around!
Of course, I will keep a keen eye on what’s happening around Enfield by logging onto the website regularly.

Sayonara, adios & au revoir!
