Another Enfield Walker Heading Overseas

Another of Enfield’s finest athletes has also been selected in an Australian team! Claire Woods was recently selected to represent Australia at the World University Games which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from August 8–18, 2007.  She is the only SA athlete selected and will compete in the 20km walk. 

 

The team will be lead by Sean Wroe (Vic) and Dani Samuels (NSW) who have already been selected to compete in the IAAF World Championships in Osaka which will commence the week after the World University Games.

We congratulate Claire on her selection and wish her well for the competition.
