St Albans Reserve was the place to be for the opening event of the summer season with the SA All Schools Championships on the 23
rd & 24th October. The grounds looked a treat and with 271 athletes and their families in attendance, the atmosphere was fantastic. Spectators were able to be close to the action with deck chairs and rugs surrounding the front and back straights. Also many people filled the mound at the north eastern end which gave them a good view of the whole track. The canteen offered a full range of goodies and there was a barbeque as well. Many people commented that the meeting had a real “country carnival” feel to it.
Enfield Harriers was represented by many athletes who had some good results.
