Volunteer Small Equipment Grant (VSEG)

SUCCESS!

Enfield Harriers is continuing its fine tradition in securing any availible funding for the clubs athleets and volunteers; having recently being awarded $3,000 for the VSEG. The purpose of the grant is to encourage and support volunteers by enabling organisations to purchase equipment that contributes to making volunteering activities easier, safer and/or more enjoyable.

The grant will be used to purchase the following equipment:

Meeting Room Chairs

Stereo/CD player

Kitchen Utensils/Equipment

BBQ

Gardening tools: petrol blower, petrol trimmer, shovel, rake etc

It is interesting to note, that the Flinders Athletic Club was the only other senior athletic club to be awarded the grant - at least they are taking advantage of the same opportunities that Enfield Harriers are. There were also 3 little athletic clubs that were successful. Hopefully next round the Enfield Little Athletic club will apply and be successful!
