2010 Australian Junior Championships

Enfield Harriers was represented by three athletes in the state team that competed in the Australian Junior Championships held at Sydney Olympic Park in March.

We are pleased to report that all three came home with medals.

Leila Johnson won a gold medal in the Under 17 Girls 2000m Steeplechase and also won a bronze medal in the Under 17 Girls 1500m run.

Paige Hooper won a silver medal in the Under 20 Girls 10000m Race Walk

Tom McNamara won a bronze medal in Under 16 Boys Pole Vault and also won a silver medal in Under 17 Boys Pole Vault.

With personal best performances and medals it was a successful competition for all three athletes.
