Interclub Standings - First Half

The attached file shows the score we achieved with our teams and our Over 35 Athletes going into the Finals to be held on the 3rd and 4th of March.  The second half of the interclub points season starts on the 13th of January with the scores starting from zero.  All athletes who turn 14, 16 or 18 years of age in 2007 now have to compete in Under 16, 18 or 20.  Look at the Hills Mens grades in the Under 20 and Under 18's you will notice they have no points.  If we were to put our Under 18 and Under 20 Men and Women in the Open Grade we may make the Top 2 Teams for the second part of the season and get into the finals.  The Over 35 Men and Women are in the Finals already and can also compete in the Open division to help get the points up.

If you want to make this happen we need to talk with all Under 18, Under 20 and Over 35 Athletes to get A Grade Teams to the Finals.  Kym will have hard copies of the attachment but requires help with getting every one to cooperate and put themselves into Open.  Obviously we don't expect athletes to compete with Heavier weighted throwing implements or Higher hurdles than what they do in their age group.  State Records and Qualifying Standards still count no matter what age group athletes enter and the running is all seeded on times so the only extra effort is writing Open on the check in sheet.

Feedback and help in communicating this to our athletes would be greatly appreciated.
