Officials:

 

Little Athletics is a sport that all the family can enjoy. For our athletes to compete each week it requires parent/s to help conduct events each week. It is usually a requirement that during the season, each family is rostered to help out as an official, possibly every 3 -4 weeks or each week.

 

 The “How to help out at Little Athletics” booklet provides a basic knowledge of how to help at each event. At the end of this booklet is a short exam to become a Level 1 Official.

 

Why not gathering your parents for a get to know session and all complete the exam together?

 

If parents wish to continue on this pathway, there is a more comprehensive booklet & exam for Level 2. A theory test, plus a minimum of 4 hours practical experience at your Centre.

 

Each Centre should endeavour to have their Key Officials trained at level 2.
