ERIKO HIROSE (Japan)

Born on March 16, 1985 in Japan, Hirose took part in
the 2005 World Badminton Championships in Anaheim
where she made it to the third round before bowling to
Wang Chen of Hong Kong.

Philippine Open this year, Hirose, ranked No. 12 in
the world, reigned in the Osaka International
Challenge last April and reached the semifinals in the
Malaysia Super Series andSingapore Super Series and
advanced to the quarterfinals of the Asian Continental
Championships, also last April.
