Hannah Sanders 10/07/15

At 11 years of age Hannah has been selected to represent Queensland in two different teams

June 2015 – Hannah competed at the Qld Primary School Championships in Ipswich and was one of four Maryborough girls selected in the Qld team. This team will travel to Perth in August.

July 2015 – Hannah then represented Maryborough as part of the U13 Maryborough Rep team who competed at the State Championships in Redlands. Even though Hannah is only 11 she impressed the selectors with her talent to earn a spot in the Qld U13 team who travel to Sydney for the U13 National Championships in September.

Anyone who has seen Hannah play will agree this little girl has an abundance of talent, with exceptional skills for an 11 year old, who can match the skills of players many years older than her.  Anyone who knows her mother, Jodie, would also agree she is following in her mother’s footsteps with speed, quick skills and talent. Jodie, as a youngster also represented Qld in many teams from U13 and Primary School.

Hannah has a passion for hockey and her selection is a credit to the hard work, focus and determination she has put in. The MDHA is proud to have such a talented young player in our Association and we wish her all the best in her hockey career.
