Who do you play for? I play with Colts in the Under 7 team
Why did you start playing hockey? I started playing hockey because my Mummy, Daddy and Sissy play and I like it
What do you like best about hockey? Doing what Brooke(coach) tells me
What position do you like best or where on the field do you like best? Scoring goals
What do you want to be when you grow up? A doctor so I can make people feel better
Who is your hero? Skye from Paw Patrol
Colts U7 Girls Team
Coach: Brooke Wessling - I love coaching the girls, focusing on team work, having fun and learning the basic hockey skills
Manager: Bev Wessling - I love watching the girls grow in confidence, skills improve and making new friends
Colts Under 7 girls team has 8 team members. Only 3 of the girls played last year:
Georgia - loves to score goals
Emma - is our star defender
Mackenzie - loves to score a snow cone
Scarlet - is our chilled out team member, nothing bothers her
Neve - loves to make friends
Ashleigh - has inherited Mums hockey skills
Holly - has the largest cheer squad
Rihanna - is our all rounder happy to play anywhere
The girls have a huge group of supporters, parents,grandparents and siblings who turn out to cheer the girls every week. Some of the girls come from Colts families but we have a couple starting the tradition in their families. Trainings are on Monday afternoons. A couple of the older girls are already playing with the Colts Under 9 team.
