All this over 2 days!

What a busy and exciting weekend it was. Fortunately, Melbourne turned on the weather for this year’s Championships at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park, Melbourne. The conditions were good and the action across the track was electric. Given this was the last competition of the current 2013/2014 season, our athletes left everything they had out on the track. Countless PBs were broken across the Saturday and Sunday, including 20 provisional VPBs.

        

For our Under 13 athletes, the State Championships also served as a selection event for the Australian Teams Championships ALAC squad. A big congratulations to all athletes who made this squad (a full list of athletes is available here).

          

Congratulations to all the athletes who put in an amazing effort at this year’s Track & Field Champs. Special thanks to all our officials, Centre Team Managers, volunteers and parents – your phenomenon effort certainly helped make this event one of our best yet! LAVic would like to thank everyone for their continued support of this event and we look forward to seeing you for the 2014/2015 season.
