The Australia Post Stawell Gift for the first time in the 130 year famous history will be held on Easter Tuesday in 2011. With Anzac Day coinciding with Easter Monday the carnival will be extended over five days from April 22 to 26.
In conjunction with the Victorian Athletic League (VAL) there has been efforts to boost participation amongst the community and give younger athletes the opportunity to participate in professional running at the highest level.
With the extended program this year Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) in conjunction with McDonald's has joined forces with Stawell Athletic Club to include six handicap events throughout the weekend ranging from 100m to 1600m. Total prizemoney for the events is worth $4500, with $750 up for grabs in each race and a prestigious sash and trophy for the winners.

All athletes will receive a commemorative registration pack with a Stawell Easter Gift 2011 T-Shirt.
