Ferntree Gully Victoria Day Award Winner Phil Matthews
Little Athletics Victoria would like to congratulate Phil Matthews from Knox Little Athletics, who recently was presented with a Victoria Day award as part of his contribution to the Knox Little Athletics Centre, in the Eastern Metropolitan Region.
Ferntree Gully electorates annually recognise the historical occasion of Victoria attaining self governance in the form of the Victorian Parliament with their parting as a separate colony from New South Wales on July 1st, 1851, awarding locals within their Community for their outstanding contributions.
Phil Matthews was nominated by his Centre; Knox for his dedication and continued service as a volunteer within the Centre. Phil was presented with his award during the Ferntree Gully Awards Ceremony on Thursday July 1st.
