2018 AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Central Coast District Womens Bowling Association was held on Friday 3rd August at Gosford City Bowling Club.
Outgoing President Dianne Elsom thanked all committees for their efforts over the previous 12 months and wished all well. Beryl Brown accepted the position of Patron for the next 12 months and was presented with her badge by outgoing President Dianne. Patron Beryl then took the chair for the election of a new District President. There were two candidates, Jenny Cook from Bateau Bay and Beryl Gibbons from The Entrance. Each club handed their vote to the scrutineers to count. The result Jenny Cook was declared the District President for the ensuing year. Beryl Gibbons was thanked for standing. The next vote was for Vice Presidents. There were 3 nominations, Lesley Swales(Umina Beach), Dianne Elsom(Woy Woy) and Norma Barry(The Entrance). Result Lesley Swales and Dianne Elsom were voted in. Norma Barry was thanked for standing. Robyne Cosgrove(Halekulani) went back in as Secretary unopposed. Match/Selection Committee all went in. Lee Thornhill(Ettalong), Chair; Jenny Cooke(Davistown RSL); Margaret Dixon(Canton Beach); Kerry Hutchinson(Davistown RSL); Barbara Jansen(Wyong). Lesley Swales was appointed as Website Editor.
Expressions of Interest were called for the following positions. Treasurer(1), Match/Selection(2), Social(1).
President Jenny presented gifts to the outgoing committee members. Outgoing Treasurer Narelle Richardson was thanked for her 20 years service on District and wished well in her retirement.
