2015 Umpires Christmas Party
On Monday 30th September the Umpires had their Christmas get together at Gosford Bowling Club. Gosford President Vera welcomed all and handed proceedings over to Leanne, Leader of the Umpires Discussion Group. She in turn welcomed all the Umpires. The numbers were low at 21 but that did not stop them having a great fun filled day. After a delicious morning tea of home made cakes provided by the Gosford ladies it was on to the green for a game of fun bowls. It was great to see the ladies in their Christmas attire on the green, made for a very colourful sight.
It was then inside for a lovely salad luncheon with fruit salad and icecream provided by the Gosford Ladies. Leanne presented each of them with a special thank you gift. Raffles were drawn and prizes given out with much laughter and delight to those who won.
Leanne thanked District President Dianne and State Chair of Umpires Lesley for attending and she wished all a Very Happy Christmas.
