2015 QUADRANGLE SERIES

Sixteen Players, Officials and spectators travelled to the North Canberra Bowling Club in the ACT on Friday 16th January to take part in the Quadrangle Series. The event was contested over two days, two games of 21 ends on Saturday and one of 21 ends on Sunday morning. The series was played between ACT, Central Coast and Newcastle. Unfortunately the Illawarra ladies could not attend so the ACT had two sides in, ACT Gold and ACT Blue.

The weather was superb and our ladies played very well but after the 3 rounds were completed Newcastle came out on top. Congratulations to them.

Our coach driver, Brian, took us on a tour of Canberra after the games on Saturday which everyone enjoyed.

We returned home on Sunday very tired but all agreed it had been a very good weekend.
