2014 UMPIRES CHRISTMAS PARTY
On Monday 1st December the Central Coast Umpires Discussion Group held their Christmas Party at Gosford City Bowling Club. All umpires were welcome, however it was a very small number, 20 in total, who enjoyed the day.
Secretary Dora [Gosford City WBC] welcomed all on behalf of Gosford Pres. Judy who could not attend. Leader of the Umpires Discussion Group Leanne, then welcomed all and wished everyone a happy day.
There were only 3 rinks of triples played but everyone enjoyed themselves. It was then in for a lovely luncheon supplied by the Gosford City ladies. Well done to them.
All present received a gift on the day and some were lucky enough to win raffle prizes as well.
A special presentation was made to Dora Bailey who had recently resigned as an Umpire. She had been a past Leader/Recorder for many years and she was thanked for all her hard work and wished well for the future.
All were wished a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
