State Relay Championships 2020-21

The State Relay Championships for season 2020-21 are on this Saturday 27th March (U9-U12) and Sunday 28th March (U13-U16) at Casey Fields, Cranbourne.

Congratulations and good luck to all our Mentone teams competing this weekend!

DUTY ROSTER

Please take a moment to check the Parent Duty Roster for this weekend and email mentonecomp@lavic.com.au by 7pm Friday night to confirm you'll be able to complete your duty. For the Saturday roster, click HERE and for the Sunday roster, click HERE

If you have multiple athletes competing, please check each of their competition blocks. We will need you to check in at the Mentone tent 10mins prior to your duty time.

As always these events can't be held without lots of parental assistance and we appreciate everyone doing their part on the day. Please be mindful of the following:

  • Closed-shoes are required when on duty - no thongs/sandals.
  • Please don't use your phones or take pictures whilst on duty.

TIMETABLE

Check the LAVic Information Page for the current timetable and live results throughout the day.

UNIFORMS

Ensure the correct Centre Uniform is worn and pay special attention to the following:

  • Coles patches must be sewn onto tops above the LAVic logo.
  • Registration Chest Patches are required (pinned on). You should also have a Commonwealth Bank sticker over the old Subway logo.
  • Shorts/ leggings must be the approved LAVic shorts or in plain black without pockets, lines, or logos larger than 4cm x 4cm.
  • Spikes may be worn for all relay events by athletes in the U11-16 age groups only. All types of spikes are permitted at Casey Fields; however, they cannot exceed 7mm.
  • Check the full Uniform Guidelines for further information.

GENERAL INFO

We'll be setting up tents for everyone, but BYO chairs/blankets.  We will have limited space, so please understand that someone will most likely sit in your chair if you're not using it.

Please arrive with plenty of time for parking and to scan in using the QR code provided at the gate. Also worth noting that parking may be difficult as there is a Covid testing site set up and other sport on at Casey Fields.

Athletes should present to their age group manager for a uniform check and warm up, about 1 hour before their first event

Please be sure to get in touch with me or your age group manager if you have any questions.

Go Mentone!
