Presidents Reserve Singles Goes Down to the Wire

Ourimbah RSL’s Mark Cummings and Bateau Bay’s Brendan Wrice played out an arm wrestle over the closing stages of the final of the Presidents Reserve Singles played at Terrigal BC on Sunday 18th March. Cumming’s led throughout the first half of the game but Wrice slowly pegged him back to take the lead 26-25 in their quest to reach the magic 31. It was an arm wrestle over those closing ends with Cummings picking up a vital two for a commendable 31-28 title win. Both players are to be congratulated on a high standard game of draw bowl befitting of a final.
