Second Consecutive Senior Singles Title in Two Years
Senior State Representative player John Roberts (JR) from Ettalong Memorial BC out played Terrigal’s Tony Shoebridge 31-19 in the final of the 2018 Central Coast Senior Singles Championship played at Terrigal BC on Saturday 17th March.
JR showed his class and put his stamp of authority on the final from the outset with a fine display of Singles play by constantly nailing the jack with his first bowl and placing pressure on his opponent.
It was JR’s third Central Coast Senior Singles title and his second title in consecutive years having also won this prestigious title in 2017.
