Junior players have until May 31st to make payment at the reduced rate. Club fees not paid prior June 30th will attract a late payment fee of $60.00. Members are not eligible to play after July 31st if payment has not been receipted or an agreed arrangement is in place prior.

Training Levy

As was the case last year, there is a training levy for players this year. This was introduced to cover increasing costs in a more equitable way across our players. There is a long history associated with this concept, with this levy being a part of overall player costs on and off over a number of years. Dave Edwards, our President, would be very happy to share these details with anyone who has any queries.

The levy is due for all players with the exception of Under 9. The Premier League players training levy is $100.00. The remaining players’ levy is $50.00. Please note players are only required to pay 1 levy; that being for the highest grade they play & this levy is not payable at the start of the season. Details regarding payment timeline and process will be shared at a later date.

Grange Royals Holiday Raffle – Training Levy Offset Option

We acknowledge the training levy is an additional expense incurred by players. To offset this, offering an alternative to paying the levy, the club will run a travel raffle that provides the option of selling raffle books instead. A book contains 20 tickets @ $3.00 each.

Premier League players will have two books each. Metro 2, 3, 4, 5, Masters and junior players will have one book each.

Distribution of raffle books takes into consideration players playing in multiple teams. Where families have a significant number of family members playing, if you have concerns regarding the manageability of raffle book numbers please discuss these with Dave Edwards, our President.

Club Duty Obligations

Each team are allocated duties (bar, kitchen, umpiring) throughout the season. The team manager will advise the dates applicable to your team(s). Bar and kitchen duty are generally twice a season on a Saturday evening and once midweek a season. These club evenings assist with fund raising for club expenses. They are also an integral part of the great atmosphere and club spirit at Grange Royals.

Umpiring is generally a once off scheduled duty or pay someone to do your duty for you. Failure to fulfill the allocated umpiring duty will attract a penalty.
