EOI Representative Teams Committee Vacancies
The Representative Teams Committee are seeking passionate members to fill the following positions which have become vacant due to a resignation and a restructure.

The positions are:
- Secretary
- Junior Field Administrator (U11 - U15)
- Senior Field Administrator (U18 - Opens)
- Men’s Masters Administrator
- Women’s Masters Administrators
- Booking Co-ordinator
- Equipment Coordinator
- 3 Appointments Panel Members
The position roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Secretary
- Preparation and distribution of Committee meeting minutes and agendas
- Booking of venues for meetings
- Distribution of information to clubs
- Content management of Representative Team section of the ISCH website and social media
- Working with Children compliance for representative teams
Bookings Co-ordinator
- Pre book accommodation for all championships.
- Work with team managers to allocate accommodation.
- Coordinate facility bookings for trials and training.
Equipment Co-ordinator
- Work with team managers to ensure teams have the necessary equipment
- Uniform Management
- Training Equipment Management ie balls, bibs, cones etc
- First Aid Equipment Management
- Shade Shelter Management
- Maintain an inventory of equipment.
- Conduct an annual condition assessment to prioritise equipment replacement.
Administrators
Ø Junior Field– U11 to U15
Ø Senior Field– U18 to Open
Ø Men’s Masters Field
Ø Women’s Masters FieldØ
- Team Entry administration
- Team reports for inclusion in the annual report
- Determine player charges in consultation with the Finance Committee
- Notification to Finance Committee of players and charges for representation
- Provide Marketing and Events with results of Representative Teams for media outlets
Appointment Panel Field
Ø Co-ordinator
Ø Board Member/s,
Ø 3 x ISCH members with either:
o Minimum Level 2 Coaching Accreditation OR
o Recent State Field Coach or Selector OR
o Experience association Selector OR
o Recent State Field Opens Player OR
o Association Senior opens player
- Appointment of Coaches
- Appointment of Selectors
- Appointment of team managers
- Identification of suitable selectors and coaches and managers encourage them to apply
- Identification of suitable selectors and coaches and Managers to fill vacancies
- Work with the Game Development Committee to target and develop future coaches.
Committee Responsibilities
- Management of representative teams in accordance with Policies and Board directions.
- Publish a calendar of events showing all nomination dates, trials and championships
- Manage the review and change process for representative team policies.
- Ensure ISCH and other governing bodies code of conduct policies are adhered to at all times.
- Facilitate Representative Team reviews to improve and grow the sport.
- Nomination of teams in State Championships and other events
- Manage the appointment process of Selectors, Coaches and Managers
- In consultation with the Finance and Administration committee set representative fees
- Procurement of uniforms and equipment
- Booking of facilities required for trials and training
- Procurement of trophies and awards
- Promote the sport of hockey as a fun inclusive sport for all ages and abilities.
- Work closely with the officiating committee to ensure umpires are appointed to all teams where required
- Work with the Judiciary to manage representative player behaviour
- Provide media outlets with results of Representative Teams
- Keep the board informed in regards the status of representative teams and issues that need to be resolved
- Provide a written report for inclusion in the annual report
