Flying out with the esky full of icy treats, the Port Adelaide helicopter landed at Le Fevre Community Centre at 6:45am ready for another Cycle Closet Time Trial. Having assessed the weather conditions and deciding to run the event as normal the start tent provided welcome shade for officials and riders. 47 riders across all categories battled fast but tough conditions – and flies – and ever increasing temperatures with many posting PB’s and Season best times. Tim Rowe won the day in a sub 22 minute ride, ahead of Karl Evans and Miles Scotson. Zooper Doopers were well received allowing riders to rehydrate and cool down at the finish. Thanks always go to the vollies and to the riders who registered ahead of time – it really makes getting the results to you an easy task.
Our next Time Trial is scheduled for 10 January 2016 and registrations will be open later this month. Keep an eye out on Facebook and the PACC website for details.
