Port Adelaide CC is affiliated with MTBA as well as Cycling SA so you have a choice of Port Adelaide CC membership via MTBA or Cycling Australia, or save $ with both! Please carefully read the description for each license type, so you know which is the most appropriate for the riding or racing you're planning on doing. Road, Dirt or Velodrome...we have them all covered.
Cycling Australia Racing Memberships allow entry to all races conducted by Cycling Australia and affiliated States and Clubs. This is your licence to participate in all road, track, time trials, criteriums, sportifs and cyclo-cross training + racing. It is a calendar year membership in line with the UCI, so CA racing memberships will expire 31 December 2015. All fees below include membership with Port Adelaide CC. Mountain Bike Australia memberships allow entry to all races conducted by MTBA and affiliated Clubs. This permits you to participate in all MTB and cyclo-cross training + racing. These memberships expire 12 months after the date of purchase and include Port Adelaide CC membership:
You can 'value-add' a MTBA membership to your CA membership, or vice versa to race everything road, track and dirt and save $$$! See here for details.
Cycling Australia Recreational Memberships allow participation in recreation rides, Gran Fondos, Cyclo Sportif events, club training (road, track, MTB and CX) and designated timed events sanctioned by Cycling Australia and affiliated States and Clubs, including our club's time trial series. A Recreational licence is a great way to get started. You can enjoy a range of cycling activities and improve your skills and fitness. It's the perfect membership if you ride your bike for recreation but is also a good launch pad if you want to progress to racing in the future (you can upgrade this membership to racing at any time). Recreational Memberships are available on a quarterly basis with four renewal dates each year (31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December). Membership expiry date is based off the time of joining and whether that is before or after the 15th day of the middle month between quarterly expiries. Fees include Port Adelaide CC membership:
