The State Cross Country Championships for 2011 was  held on Sunday 3rd July at the Buninyong Community Facility, BUNINYONG Victoria

Thanks to all athletes, officials, team managers, parents and spectators for attending the 2011 State Cross Country Championships at the Buninyong Community Facility over the weekend.

The forecast rain and strong winds thankfully stayed away which allowed all athletes to complete the undulating, and at times challenging, course to the best of their ability.

We would like to extend a big thank you to the City of Ballarat and the Buninyong Football Club for allowing us to use their oval and impressive facilities. A special thanks also to the Ballarat Little Athletics Centre for running the BBQ as well as the Knox Little Athletics Centre for providing the hare and tortoise throughout the day.
