Flash floods hit Little Athletics Centres

Victoria was hit with some severe flash flooding last Friday 5th February, causing disruption to some Centres attempting to conduct their twilight meetings.

Rain interrupted something normally considered as a routine twilight meet, turning athletics tracks into 8 laned swimming pools in a matter of minutes.

As a result of the floods some Centre even had to cancel their Saturday program whilst the water subsided and eventually soaked up into the earth.
