Scott smashes world record

Madeleine Scott has broken the world for the S9 class after a sensational swim in the women's 50m butterfly multi-class final.

Scott hit the wall in 32.26 to beat the old mark by three tenths of a second and claim the gold medal. She finished ahead of Annabelle Williams and Sally Wheeler.

"It's amazing to have set the new record," Scott said. "I have been swimming well and it caps off the week for me."

Men's 50m fly multi-class

Mitchell Kilduff has added another national title to his collection after winning the gold medal in the men's 50m butterfly multi-class.

Kilduff, who earlier in the week won gold in the men's 200m butterfly, won the gold medal ahead of Daniel Fox, with Matthew Levy securing the final place on the podium.

Women's 400m free multi-class

Nerice Holland claimed the final gold medal of the evening, triumphing in the final of the women's 400m freestyle multi-class.

Holland, who won 13 medals last year at the Global Games and was named 2009 Australian multi-class swimmer of the Year, touched the wall ahead of Kayla Clarke and Kara Leo.
