Illawarra Archers Club Field Championship Oct 7
This year’s Club Field Championship is on this Saturday (Oct 7). Glen has been busy as usual preparing the course for us. Please note, the Field Course will be closed this Friday (Oct 6) for final setup and preparation. The shoot is posted in Archer’s Diary, so get signed up early to help with target assignments. And a reminder, archers must be qualified to at least 30m on the range prior to shooting the field.
Twilight Season Has Arrived - Oct 5
Finally, Twilight Competition Season has returned. For any of our newer members, during daylight savings, we have a club competition shoot Thursdays, with first arrows flying at 6:00pm. We aim to be a bit more casual than the Saturday competitions. Everyone shoots the same round in a single division. We haven’t seen the calendar yet, but the first few weeks will generally be 60 arrows or less, as the light is still a bit restrictive. So, bring your gear and be ready for our ‘surprise’ opening round this Thursday evening (Oct 5).

Increase to Archery Australia membership fees - 24 July 2023
On 30 May all members would have received an email from Archery Australia advising that they are increasing the AA portion of the membership fees from the beginning of July. This means that our individual membership fees are therefore increasing.
