Secondary Team announced for Pacific School Games

Athletics Tasmania is pleased to announce 74 secondary athletes in the team to compete at the 2008 Pacific Schools Games.
The 2008 Pacific School Games are to be held in Canberra from November 30 to December 6 and will feature close to 5000 students, from up to 27 countries in 5 sports – track and field, hockey, basketball, swimming and diving.
The secondary students will be joined by 52 primary aged athletes, that will be the Tasmanian track and field contingent in Canberra. The total team size will now be 126, plus 11 team managers and coaches, making track and field the biggest sporting team that Tasmania will send away.
Attached is the list of athletes selected in the Secondary team. The age groups are based on the age they are turning in 2008.
