A 1500 metre concealed handicap was held at the Domain track on Saturday. The senior walkers competed over 3000 metres whilst our younger athletes competed over 1500 metres (except for Clare who walked 3000 metres in preparation for her State Team walk in Perth in September).
Lawrie Marsh returned to the scene and showed that he has not lost any of his skills with a very smart walk over the 3000 metres with a very respectable 16 minutes 12 secs. Clare walked well with a 20.48 over the 3000 metres. Clare is improving her technique and this will see Clare continue to improve her times.
Over the 1500 metres Sophie continued to walk well along with Tahlia who is improving with each walk and is also bringing her times down.
