<04.07.07> - Hamish Peacock Departs for Europe

Departing for Europe on Thursday 5th July, the eldest of the Peacock brothers will have his first competition in a foreign country.

In January, Hamish competed in the Australian Youth Olympic Festival which gave him his first taste of international competition.  Now the scene is set for him to perform overseas.

The qualifying round for the Mens Javelin (700g) begins at midnight on Wednesday 11th July local Tasmanian time.  The final is scheduled at 3am Friday 13th July, local Tasmanian time.

Hamish is currently ranked number 4 on the IAAF list.
