A chilly but fine day greated the walkers for the Risdon Brook Dam event. 12 walkers competed and it was good to see Teletha & Caitlyn Phillips. The senior walkers competed over the 4.4km loop whilst the younger walkers walked a 2km course. Sarah Guy walked her first 2km event and was very impressive for such a young walker. Also Bobby Malcolmson had his first walk at Club level for a number of weeks and put in a very creditable time over the tough course.
It was noted that Wayne Fletcher had a big smile on his face.... perhaps he was going to join other accountants and see in the new year (financial) tonight.
