A fine day greeted the small field of walkers who competed in the second leg of the handicap series with walks over 2 and 4 kilometres.
The standout walk of the day was from Tahlia Hunt over 2 kilometres. Tahlia walked an excellent time of 14.29 which was by far her best time. Sophie and Stephanie walked the 4 kilometer course for the first time and both put in strong performances.
David was reasonably happy with his performance and received praise from the younger walkers who commented after the race "... he has a good style". Wayne took a breather to encourage the younger walkers but was pleased with his first 2 kilometre split.
