State Championships held at Kempton

The State Championships were held at Kempton on Saturday 5th May on the "Memorial Drive" course.  This course whilst free of traffic is a challengining course for walkers with a steady incline.  Again the over 40s and younger walkers provided good attendance.

In conjunction with the State Championships, invitational events were also conducted with good attendance. 

Medals were presented at the conclusion of the walks by Athletics Tasmania Vice President, Wayne Fletcher.
