TEAM SELECTED
Athletics
The team includes World Walking Cup representative Daniel Coleman, current Australian champions Karinna Fyfe and Hamish Peacock and national youth squad member Josh Harris.
AT President, Brian Roe said that the team was dominated by athletes in endurance and throwing events, reflecting the high standard of performance in those disciplines over the last year.
“Perhaps it also reflects the inspiring efforts of Donna MacFarlane in the Commonwealth Games because we have eleven athletes selected in the steeplechase events, which is quite an interesting development,” Mr Roe said.
