We have 99 athletes representing Mentone in 47 events at the LAVic State Relay Championships on Saturday 13th December.

To ensure that our duties are covered can you please confirm via return email to Gaynor your acceptance of your allocated duty by no later than Wednesday. Please ensure that you have Gaynor's phone number on hand for any roster issues that arise on the day. For general issues your Team Manager should be your first contact point.

The LAVic website has links to all the information you need to know for the day however we would like to highlight a couple of things:

1. Uniform

• No logos on shorts bigger than 3cm x 3cm. Plain black shorts are best
• No pockets or zips on shorts
• No black tee shirts under Mentone singlet
• IGA patches must be removed
• Jetstar patch MUST be sewn (not pinned) on the right hand side of the top above the running man logo. If you do not have a Jetstar patch you will need to obtain one from your Team Manager prior to Saturday
• 7mm spikes are now permissible again at Lakeside Stadium (u12 & above age groups only)

LAVic will be strictly enforcing these rules. If an athlete is non compliant they will not be permitted to enter the call room.

2. Parent Duty Uniform Requirements

Please note that parents performing a duty are required to wear closed toe shoes. No thongs please as it is a safety risk.

Refer to the link below that will take you to the LAVic website where you will find everything you need to know for the day. I'm not sure where we will be sitting so please look out for the Mentone banners when you arrive. We usually sit somewhere over on the front straight. 

And finally please ensure that you arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start time for your event to allow sufficient time for warm up and to get to the call room.  Call room deadlines will be strictly enforced.
