About the PCBL Competition

The Pacific Coast Baseball League is an association affiliated with NSW Baseball. It aims to operate evenly graded senior (15 years and older) baseball competitions all year round within the Greater Sydney region. Teams are graded by the league and club delegates to fit into competitions from A grade through to F grade. The level of play approaches State League standards in A grade, sometimes grade players are also found in these teams but the league is generally accepted to be a more socially orientated competition than State League, with 2 hour timed matches. Training is optional, however players are encouraged to attend.

The summer season is played from September through to the end of March, excluding public holidays and the Christmas/New Year period. Usually on Saturday afternoons with the occasional Sunday game.

The winter season is played from April through to the end of August, excluding public holiday weekends. Usually on Saturday afternoons with the occasional Sunday game.
