We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we navigate this season alongside COVID-19 restrictions. Please be aware that COVID-19 restrictions can change rather quickly. However, we will do our best to notify you of updates as soon as we are made aware.
Registrations - Registrations for the 2020/2021 season are underway! Register asap. Please carefully read and follow the instructions for use of the active kids voucher. Please ensure you register your child by 6 September, so that they can be included in team gradings and team selection. While we except late registrations, we cannot guarantee a spot on a team after that date, as there is a chance the teams will be full.
Try Baseball/Rego Day - has been scheduled for 5 September at Waratah from 2:00 - 4:00. Due to COVID restrictions, we ask that you cooperate with our social distancing rules. We will have games set up for the tee ballers. There will also be an opportunity to register. However, due to COVID restrictions, we ask that you do not congregate apart from the kids trying tee ball.
Team Trophies and Yearbooks - we ask that all managers from last season stop by the Try Baseball/Rego day to collect their team trophies and yearbooks. Team managers will distribute trophies and Yearbooks to their team.
Premiership Jackets - those players who have received premiership jackets (or had their existing jackets embroidered) are able to collect their jackets on Try Baseball/Rego Day. If you are unable to collect on this day, please respond to this email and we will make alternative arrangements.
Grading Day - Player grading will occur on Monday, 7 September at Tom Evans field, Bonnet Bay at the following times: U12 (LL minors and majors) and U14 (JL): 5:30-6:45pm; U16 (SL): 7:00-8:30pm. PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID restrictions we strongly encourage all players to bring their own gear, if possible.
CSJBA Opening Day - SL1's begin on 9 October with the rest of the comp beginning on Saturday 10 October. As of this writing of this email, neither CSJBA nor Baseball NSW has issued the final COVID-19 guidelines for the Summer Season.
Working Bee - we get use of Waratah commencing on Monday 28 September. We are hoping to have working bees on either Saturday 3 October and/or Sunday 4 October.
Canteen - we are planning on running a limited canteen due to ongoing COVID concerns. This will mean no BBQ on a weekly basis but instead a minimum of drinks and lollies. Kerry and Jason Charles have generously volunteered in the canteen for two years. As a committee, we are happy to work with anyone who has suggestions on how to run the canteen. Or if you just have a few hours to dedicate to the club, the club sure would appreciate it.
We look forward to seeing all of you back on the fields!
Your St. Pats Club Committee
