WWCC - Club Requirements

All Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers will have obtained a current and valid Working with Children Authorisation Number ("WWCC") or Working with Children Application Number ("APP") issued by NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian ("NSW OCG").

An APP Number is issued immediately to applicants after completing a few details on line; as such there is no reason why a team Manager, Assistant Coach, Head Coach and other volunteers identified by the Club not have either a WWCC or APP Number prior to commencement of Round 1 this Friday night.

It is incumbent on Clubs to stand aside volunteers who do not possess a WWCC or APP Number until such time as it has been obtained and verified by a duly authorised representative of the Club.

Note only persons 18 years of age and older require a WWCC Number. In the event a volunteer turns 18 years of age during the CSJBA’s baseball season, that volunteer will be required to obtain a WWCC Number.

In conclusion, please be advised that in the event a Club:

        i.            does not provide the CSJBA the above mentioned database by the due date and until such time as it is received, the Clubs’ teams will be scratched from subsequent Rounds with a Win awarded to the opposing team

ii.            provides an incomplete database, then those teams for which information is incomplete will be scratched from subsequent Rounds with a Win awarded to the opposing team until such time that complete information is received

iii.            does not complete requisite information pertaining to an individual, then that individual is to be stood aside until such time that a WWCC Number has been obtained and verified by a duly authorised representative of the Club
