Saturday 30th September  – Bunnings Mentone Sausage Sizzle - Helpers needed please!

(Yes we know what day it is, but that is what we got allocated after an 18 month wait since the last one!)

These slots are very hard to come by, and if we don’t take it we could wait another couple of years. So we need your support to make it a big day for the club, despite it being Grand Final Day.

For those who are keen to watch the footy, get your names down on an early shift! And for those who don’t mind missing it, sign up for the afternoon.

We will need volunteers to cook, serve, and be cashiers on the day, from 8am in the morning till 5pm. Hopefully you can spare a few hours for a shift.

In addition, helping at the BBQ can be put down against your duty hours for this coming season.  This is one of the best ways to raise funds for our club without you having to spend a cent.

Usually Bunnings BBQs can raise between $1500 and $2500 for the club depending on the weather. It is also a long weekend, so many people doing DIY ready for the summer!
