UPDATE - Initial Qualifiers for States are HERE

Well done to all our Athletes who competed at the SMR Relay Championships on the weekend.  It was a great opportunity for our centre to unite and put all the practice and hard work into action, with great success.

The sun shone and the day was filled with fun, excitement and a bit of drama (of course).

We came in a commendable 2nd on the overall Medal Tally.  Full results here.  Having a massive 88 teams entered made it difficult for us to challenge for the Fred Roffey Trophy, which is based on points earned divided by the total number of centre teams entered..

Thanks to Maddy, Glenda and Alex for Team Managing for the Centre, our Age-Group Team Managers for their hard work training and organising the teams, Walter for bringing the tents and all of our parents for helping out with duties.  We (and SMR) couldn't have done it without you.

First-placed teams have already qualified for the State Relay Championships at Lakeside on December 17. Some second-placed teams are also through automatically, with further time-based progressions being announced later this week.  A table showing the progression rules is on the LAVic Region Relays page here.
