The Doncaster Women went to Springvale for the Grand Final replay.  Doncaster started well by scoring 4 runs in the first innings, thanks to some good work with the bat from B Cannington, S Hamilton, A Collins, E Petterson and M Davis. We closed Springvale out in the first innings without them scoring, but let them back in the game in the second innings with some solid hitting that saw them put 5 runs on the board. This let them get in front, but not for long as Doncaster rallied to score 8 runs in the third to put us up by 7 runs.

And then with some fine pitching from Doncaster's Amy Collins that kept Springvale scoreless for the next 2 innings.
In the bottom of the 5th innings Springvale put together several big hits, scoring 6 runs and within 1 run from Doncaster leading into the last innings.

Doncaster batted first but we're unable to score, and then unfortunately Springvale got the better of us with a couple of long balls and went on to win the game 13 o 12.
