Track & Field pre-season/ school season training

With a successful cross country season coming to an end with States Championships this weekend, it's time to start preparing for the school athletics season!

Coach Rupert will be continuing training at Dolamore Reserve from 4:45 - 5:30 Wednesdays, with a focus on sprints and middle distance events.

Kids who are competing in jumps, throws and hurdles are encouraged to attend too because we will be doing a range of plyometric drills which assist in these events. 

Coach Rupert is a highly experienced coach and school teacher with a passion for athletics. As district carnivals get closer, we hope to have more event-specific training. Younger athletes (prep - grade 3) can come along and prepare for the summer little aths season.
