On the weekend 71 Mentone athletes competed at the Region Track and Field Carnival at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve. It was a somewhat hot weekend, but that didn't bother our wonderful athletes who displayed great resilience and support of one another.

There were plenty of PB's, medals, records broken and fantastic sportsmanship on display. It was great to see all of our athletes and families cheering each other on across the weekend.

We would like to congratulate all 71 athletes on their results and persistence, and special congratulations to our medalists and record breakers!
