Relays are a big part of our season at Mentone Little Athletics Centre.

The Relay Season is about to start, and comprises 3 events:

Mentone Relay Day - We invite all Mentone U8 to U16 Athletes to sign up for Mentone Relay Day (Sunday 10th November). It's the biggest event on the Mentone Calendar each season - click here for details.  There is no cost for Mentone Athletes.

LAVic Region Relay Championships (23rd-24th Nov) and State Relay Championships (14th Dec) are open to U9 to U16 Athletes.  Successful teams at Region Relays will progress to the State Relay Championships.

Please note that as relays are a team sport, by registering for the full season you are committing to be available for each event.  In addition, parents will be expected to perform duties at each of these events.  It is impossible to run these events without everyone contributing.  If you will not be available for Region or State Relays, it is possible to register for Mentone Relay Day only.

Your Team Managers will discuss training times this week, so please register ASAP to ensure you receive important information in regards to relays.

There is no cost to participate in relays and is a great way to get to know other children in your age group.
