The Southern SATIS meet was held in Hobart in September, with a highlight of the meet being Samuel Walker presented with his Australian Bib. The Australian bibs are awarded to athletes who have represented their country at a senior international level, with Samuel achieving his from his representation at the Commonwealth Games in April.

Samuel received bib #377, joining a small group of Tasmanian's to have received such an honour. Congratulations Sam!
