SMR Relays Wrap-Up - 2nd place on the Medal Tally, 39 Teams through to States
Congratulations to all of our Athletes who participated in the Southern Metro Region Relay Championships last Saturday.
It was a great day at Springvale - pretty hot most of the time, then WAY too windy and wet for a very short time as a storm rolled through.
A big thanks to everyone who helped out both on the day and in the lead up - relays are a big effort for everyone.
39 Mentone teams have qualified for the State Relay Championships in December.
We have come in a very close second place on the Medal Tally, with 40 medals overall and 17 gold - both equal with the winner, Sandringham. A few silver medals were all that separated us.
