Round 1 - This Saturday 7th October, Bunnings BBQ, Coaching Day and Come 'n Try Thank-You

A warm welcome to our new members and welcome back to our returning members!

We kick-off Season 2017/18 with Round 1, this Saturday the 7th October.

A big thanks to our sponsorship coordinator Martin Walker, Bunnings and the families who assisted at our Bunnings BBQ on Grand Final Day.  We raised $1700 for the Centre.  A great effort on a challenging day.

Thanks also to our coaches for their time on Coaching Day and to the committee and team managers for helping run our Come 'n Try session last weekend.

We are running Program 1 - click here to download.

Under 8 Families are on Set Up Duty- please arrive at 7:30am to ensure we get started on time.

Under 13 Families are on Pack Up Duty.

Note that these duties are separate to allocated Parent Duties, but essential to the running of our sessions.  Don't forget to allocate your Parent Duties.

Chest patches will be distributed to all fully-paid members by your Team Managers.  Handbooks and Registration Bags will also be distributed.

Free Centre Training starts on Wednesday 11th October, 5-6pm.

Information for New Members

Please make sure you register and pay online before you come along on Saturday.  Click here to register.

If you have already registered and had your free trial, please pay online as soon as possible to give us time to print your chest patches.  Chest patches help keep the session running smoothly (and are compulsory).  Look for an email from Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) with details on how to pay your registration fee.

A scan/photo of birth certificates or other proof of age can be sent to mentone@lavic.com.au.

If you have not yet had a free trial you can do so at Round 1.  Please register online (and choose not to pay) beforehand.

Please arrive at 8:15am (or 9:45am for U9 and over) and assemble on the grass near your age-group sign for warm-up.

Uniforms are recommended but not compulsory at our regular sessions at Mentone.  If you don't have a uniform, comfortable sports clothes will do.  Please also bring hats and drink bottles.  Uniforms will be on sale in the clubroom.

If you have questions or need help registering please come along extra-early and see Cameron and Natasha in the clubroom.  There is also more info on our FAQ Page and Parent Duties page.
