SA Regional Championships - 2016
The SA Regional Junior Championships began in 2001, hosted by the Riverland Hockey Association at Berri. The main objective was, and still is, to promote the growth and development of hockey among juniors in Under 18, Under 15 and Under 13 boys and girls age divisions within the regional hockey associations of South Australia. The Regionals, as they are known, are held each October long weekend on a rotation basis amongst the regional associations.
2016 is the turn of the Barossa Valley Hockey Association (BVHA) to host these championships. They will be held, as usual, on the long weekend in October from Saturday 1 October to Monday 3 October, with games possibly starting Friday evening 30 September if necessary (only for teams geographically close to the Barossa).Matches will be held at Stockwell Recreation Park, where the BVHA is proud to have its new turf pitch which was installed in 2014. Stockwell is just north of Nuriootpa on the Sturt Highway.

- Friday 2 September Team nominations and payment due
- Friday 16 September Events guide and Fixtures released

Information will be sent to each association’s nominated Regionals contact. So that we have a current contact list could all associations please provide us with contact details for that person within your association – name, mobile phone and email.
